Terms & Conditions

By ordering from Miller Catering Ltd you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


  1. Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable.
  2. We must receive the balance by the due date indicated or contract is null and void, and deposit will not be refunded.
  3. The date of your final payment is the final date for any changes of size, style or flavours of the cake. Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
  4. Delivery and setup is depending on the location of the venue and will be stipulated in the final price.
  5. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius or below.
  6. If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will place them for an additional fee. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
  7. If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession.
  8. On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
  9. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
  10. Performance of this agreement is contingent upon our ability to complete the Agreement and is subject to labour disputes or strikes, accidents, Acts of God, and other causes beyond our control.

CAKE CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Please refrigerate your cake as soon as possible unless advised otherwise. Decorated sugarpaste cakes / sugarpaste items should be kept at cool, dry place and not in the fridge. Our cakes are best consumed at room temperature. We recommend removing the cake minimum an hour before cutting (subject to room temperature). If the sponge still appears to be hard the cake is not back to room temperature and it will need to be left out for a little longer.


CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: if you wish to cancel or make any changes to your cake order, we require the following notice period before delivery/collection:


Orders cancelled 7 days or more before the delivery / collection date will receive a full refund on the order total;

those cancelled within 2-6 days of delivery/collection will be entitled to a 50% refund;

those cancelled within 48 hours of the order date will not be entitled to a refund (although refunds and credit notes may still be provided at C&D’s discretion).



For wedding cakes: cancellation 4 months prior the wedding date will be entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations within 4 month to the wedding date will not be entitled to a refund.  


Any changes or cancellations will need to be confirmed by email to info@millercakestudio.com  Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any requests for changes or offer refunds thereafter.

All our cakes and cupcakes are baked to order and we do not accept returns. Refunds, credit notes or a replacement order to the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the incorrect product or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. Should this be the case, or if you are in any way unsatisfied with the condition or quality of your cakes upon arrival you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Miller Catering Limited will not accept liability for any complaints made after this time.
